Laser Rosacea Treatment

Calmer-looking skin. A considered approach to redness.

Rosacea can cause persistent redness, flushing and visible vessels, often leaving the complexion looking uneven and sensitive.

Depending on your individual presentation, laser and light-based treatments may help to reduce the appearance of redness and visible vascular features.

Your skin will be carefully assessed before treatment so that we can determine the most appropriate approach for you.

How treatment targets redness

  • Selected wavelengths of light pass through the skin and are absorbed by haemoglobin in visible, dilated blood vessels.
  • The absorbed energy becomes controlled heat, encouraging the vessel walls to close.
  • The body gradually clears the treated vessels over the following weeks, helping the complexion appear calmer and more even.

Your rosacea treatment plan

A typical course may involve 4 to 6 treatments around one month apart, depending on your skin and response. Improvement develops gradually, and maintenance treatments may be recommended.

  • Treatment can help reduce visible vessels and background redness.
  • Rosacea cannot be permanently cured with laser, and individual results vary.
  • Your triggers, skin sensitivity and medical history will be discussed before treatment.

Rosacea can have many triggers and treatment responses vary. Laser treatment is not a cure for rosacea, but may help manage certain visible symptoms.
