How skin tag removal works
Advanced epilation, also called advanced electrolysis or thermocoagulation, uses a very fine probe and high-frequency current to apply targeted heat to the skin tag. This seals its blood supply so it can be removed or naturally dry and detach.
- Treatment is precise and typically involves little or no bleeding.
- Each skin tag may take only seconds to treat.
- You may feel a brief, sharp heat or pinching sensation.
Healing after treatment
Some small skin tags need very little healing time, while larger ones may form a light crust and take around 14 days to settle. Avoid picking the area and follow the aftercare advice provided.
