How microneedling works
Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses very fine sterile needles to create controlled microchannels in the skin. This prompts the skin's natural repair response and supports new collagen and elastin production.

- A suitable glide serum, often containing hyaluronic acid, supports comfortable, controlled treatment.
- The treatment can improve the appearance of acne scarring, fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven texture and some pigmentation concerns.
Sensation and downtime
Most clients describe a vibrating, scratchy or sandpaper-like sensation. Afterwards, the skin commonly looks and feels sunburned, with redness, warmth, mild swelling or tightness strongest during the first 24 hours. This usually settles over 2 to 3 days and may be followed by light dryness or flaking.
